Our DPF filter Emulator fully copies all the sensors' signals which would be normally send with working DPF filter.
Once the emulator is connected, ECU thinks that fully operational DPF filter is installed.
DPF Removal Steps
1. Place the emulator in the cabin or under the hood. Make sure emulator is not exposed to water.
2. Connect emulator wires to Temperature Sensors.
3. Connect emulator wires to Differential Pressure Sensor.
4. Connect emulator wires to Intake Sensor.
5. Perform test drive for 5-10 minutes.
6. Gut DPF.

SCR Removal Steps
1. Place the emulator in the cabin or under the hood. Make sure emulator is not exposed to water.

EGR - Exhaust Gas Recirculation. EGR was the technology that most manufacturers used to meet the first rounds of emissions regulations in 2004 and 2007. An electronically controlled valve permits a small amount of vehicle exhaust to mix with the intake air stream. Less air in the cylinder during combustion means less fuel required, lower combustion temperatures, and improved emissions.
DPF - Diesel Particulate Filter was added from 2007 as the 2nd round
of emission regulations. Approximately
every 8 hours of driving use plugs the filter substrate
and your vehicle goes into “REGEN MODE”. This means your
truck dumps extra fuel down the exhaust stream, which
ignites, causing flames to travel down the exhaust pipe
through the DPF and burn the trapped particulate material.
During this process your exhaust can exceed temperatures
of 1100 degrees and may reduce the life of all attached
components. For reference, the valves inside your engine
begin to melt after 950 degrees and the REGEN process may
last up to 45 minutes.
When a DPF is damaged it can result in a massive repair
bill and often the removal of that particulate matter
comes at the cost of power, fuel economy and engine life.
A DPF system that remains in place will give your truck
terrible fuel economy and once removed, the fuel economy
can be improved by up to 30%.
SCR (DEF)- Selective Catalyst Reduction (with Diesel Exhaust Fluid).
The newest 3rd emissions reduction system installed from 2010 and adds another
tank on your truck. This tank is filled with
DEF (or another name UREA or AdBlue).
This is a mixture of 30% urea, a compound derived from
urine, and water. When your exhaust pipe is hot, the fluid
is injected and vaporizes. This high temperature causes
the urea to form ammonia. The ammonia acts as a catalyst
with exhaust gasses reducing them to less harmful
compounds.
The reality of DEF and SCR turned out to not be that bad,
and in the end, despite the added cost of the fluid
itself, the increased fuel efficiency and reduced
emissions made the hassle of topping off an extra tank of
liquid once in a while kind of worth it.
We provide Lifetime extended warranty when device stopped working fully or partially during normal usage. Before submitting a warranty claim, make sure that connection is not loose, MAP/MAF and oxidation catalyst temperature sensors are still in good working conditions. We advice to perform scan using diagnostic equipment.
Non-warranty cases are mechanically damaged box, water leaks, tempering the box and its internals.
